Amazon has launched an email marketing service that lets email marketers send 2,000 free emails a day. The cost per email over 2,000 is $0.10 per thousand. Wow just $0.10 per thousand. In addition to low pricing, Amazon is not requiring email marketers to sign a contract.

Is this going to drive down the cost of email marketing even further? Will some email service providers die? Are agencies going to be among the first to leave their email service provide?
